Getting the home ready

You do not need to stage a magazine, and you do not need to stay home. A tidy house and a little daylight will do more than anything else on this list.

Arkansas REM will photograph the home for your listing. Lights on, fans off, blinds open. We tidy what we can once we arrive. If you get through the items below, we can do the rest.

Before we arrive

1. Open every blind and curtain.
2. Turn on every light, lamps included. Fans off.
3. Move cars out of the driveway and off the street in front of the house.
4. Put pets in a crate, a closed room, or off-site.
5. Clear kitchen and bath counters: meds, mail, chargers, extra bottles.
6. Make the beds. Fold or hang towels. Close toilet lids.
7. Hide trash cans in a garage or closet.
8. Pick up yard toys and hoses. Mow if the grass is long.

Do you need to be there?

No. A lockbox code is enough. Your agent will share access with us. Stay reachable by phone in case a door is locked or we have a quick question. Most visits are finished in a single appointment.

What happens on site

   We walk the home

   Stills first, then drone, video, or twilight if those were booked. One crew. One visit.

2. 02
   We handle the small stuff

   Lights, blinds, a trash can that got left out, a pillow that fell over. You do not need to follow us room to room.

3. 03
   You get photos the same night

   Your agent receives the edited stills that evening. Video lands the next morning.

Weather

Light rain is usually still a go. If a storm would hurt the work, we will reschedule and keep your listing timeline in mind. Your agent will text you if anything changes.
